14th-place finish in Illini 100 opener at Farmer City Raceway
Tristan Chamberlain was back in the Midwest over the weekend with the World of Outlaws Late Model Series at Farmer City (Ill.) Raceway for the 19th-running of the Illini 100 weekend with the HW Gibson Racing team.
Racing his way into the $12,000 opener through a heat race, Chamberlain started 11th in the 40-lapper and wound up 14th. Tristan then started fifth in the $25,000 finale on Saturday after an impressive second-place heat finish. In the 60-lap feature, Chamberlain fell back and finished 21st.
Chamberlain currently sits 12th in the series point standings.
