Chamberlain scores Late Model win at Montpelier Motor Speedway
Staying off the road for the weekend, Tristan Chamberlain raced at his home track of Montpelier (Ind.) Motor Speedway and pulled double duty in the HW Gibson Racing Super Late Model and UMP Modified on Saturday night.
Chamberlain set fast time among a 23-car field and made up two spots in his heat race to earn the pole position for the A-Main. Tristan led flag-to-flag in the 25-lap feature and picked up a $2,000 payday for his efforts.
Chamberlain suffered a DNF in the UMP Modified main event after starting ninth.
