World of Outlaws bring HW Gibson Racing to Highland, Spoon River, and Maquoketa
Starting off a four-day swing with the national tour, Tristan Chamberlain was one of 31 World of Outlaws Real American Beer Late Models at Highland (Ill.) Speedway for the $12,000-to-win Beat the Heat 40.
Charging to a 12th-place finish in the opener, Chamberlain followed that up with a 15th-place run at Spoon River Speedway (Canton, Ill.) on Thursday before Friday's weekend opener at Maquekota (Iowa) Speedway was rained out. Tristan ended the stretch with a 20th-to-13th charge in the 60-lap Hawkeye 100 finale.
Chamberlain remains 13th in the World of Outlaws point standings.
