Chamberlain grabs Top-5 with DIRTcar Summer Nationals at Montpelier Motor Speedway

As the DIRTcar Summer Nationals invaded one of his home tracks, Tristan Chamberlain checked in at Montpelier (Ind.) Motor Speedway on Wednesday for the $5,000-to-win Hell Tour show.

Chamberlain qualified third-fastest in his group and grabbed the final transfer spot in his heat race which put him starting 14th in the 30-lap feature. Tristan stormed forward and passed ten competitors to land inside the Top-5 in fourth.

On Friday, the HW Gibson team rolled into Sharon Speedway (Hartford, Ohio) for the World of Outlaws Real American Beer Late Model Series-sanctioned Battle at the Border.

Chamberlain finished 20th in the opener before performing a little better on Saturday evening where he finished 13th in the 50-lapper.

Tristan rejoined the DIRTcar Summer Nationals on Sunday night for the tour's season finale at Wayne County Speedway (Orrville, Ohio). Chamberlain started 16th in the $5,000-to-win show and charged to a Top-10 in seventh.
