Tristan Chamberlain attends rain-shortened Gopher State 50 at Deer Creek Speedway

Finishing up the tour's stretch out North, Tristan Chamberlain and the HW Gibson team rolled up to Deer Creek Speedway (Spring Valley, Minn.) for the World of Outlaws Real American Beer Late Model Series-sanctioned Gopher State 50.

Chamberlain finished 15th in the first preliminary night and found more speed on Friday evening as he raced into the $10,000-to-win prelim through his heat race and wound up 16th after 40-laps.

Saturday's $50,000-to-win finale was rained out and will not be made up.

Chamberlain is currently 13th in the World of Outlaw point standings.
