Tristan Chamberlain follows World of Outlaws to Illinois and Iowa
Starting off a four-day swing with the World of Outlaw Case Construction Late Model Series, Tristan Chamberlain checked into Highland (Ill.) Speedway on Wednesday afternoon for the Beat the Heat 40.
Breaking out his new Longhorn Chassis by Wells, Chamberlain was fast in qualifying and was battling for the win in his heat race when another competitor made contact with him which spun Chamberlain out. Winning his Last Chance Showdown to make the A-Main, Tristan finished 16th in the $10,000-to-win main event.
Thursday's visit to Spoon River Speedway (Banner, Ill.) was rained out.
Competing at Maquoketa (Iowa) Speedway for the next two nights, Chamberlain scored a Top-10 finish in the $10,000-to-win opener before finishing 18th in the Hawkeye 100 finale.
