Chamberlain takes nasty ride with World of Outlaws at Cedar Lake Speedway
Following the World of Outlaw Case Late Model Series further North, Tristan Chamberlain checked into Cedar Lake Speedway (New Richmond, Wis.) on Thursday afternoon for the first night of the USA Nationals.
With World of Outlaws Case Late Model Series officials pushing Thursday's show to Friday afternoon, Chamberlain began his weekend with a 21st-place outing in the first $6,000-to-win preliminary feature before heading into Friday evening's event. Racing in a last chance showdown, Chamberlain took a nasty tumble by flipping over multiple times. Tristan was OK but his brand-new Longhorn was totaled.
Bringing out the backup car for Saturday's $50,000-to-win finale, Chamberlain finished 24th in the rain-shortened main event.
Chamberlain is currently 14th in the series point standings.
