Tristan Chamberlain tackles Dirt Late Model Dream with HW Gibson Racing
Securing Rookie of the weekend in his last visit to the Big E, Tristan Chamberlain and the HW Gibson Racing crew checked into at Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) for the 30th-annual Dirt Late Model Dream.
After Mother Nature wiped out Wednesday's FloRacing Night in America event, Chamberlain kicked off the weekend on Thursday for his preliminary night.
Qualifying 14th-fastest in his stacked qualifying group, Tristan lost two positions in his heat race which relegated him to a B-Main. Only making up one spot, Chamberlain did not transfer to the $25,000 main event.
Slated for the first heat race on Saturday, Chamberlain was unable to make up much ground and was buried in a B-Main. With a 19th-place finish, Tristan did not make the $100,030-to-win showdown.
