Chamberlain deals with steering issues during Alabama Gang 100 with World of Outlaws
Losing Thursday's event at Thunderhill, Tristan Chamberlain kicked off his weekend with the World of Outlaws Case Late Model Series on Friday afternoon at Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, Ala.) for the Alabama Gang 100.
Stopping the clock 14th-quickest in his stacked qualifying group, Chamberlain started the 25-lap preliminary feature from 14th and pulled off early with steering issues.
Still dealing with steering issues on Saturday, Tristan was unable to make the $35,000-to-win main event after placing 13th in the second Last Chance Showdown.
Chamberlain is currently 21st in the World of Outlaw point standings.
