Tristan Chamberlain attends Illini 100 at Farmer City Raceway
Tristan Chamberlain and the HW Gibson Racing crew headed to the Midwest on Friday afternoon for the first night of the World of Outlaws Case Late Model Series-sanctioned Illini 100 at Farmer City (Ill.) Raceway.
With a stout 45-car field on hand, Chamberlain qualified seventh-quickest before falling backwards in his heat race which relegated him to a B-Main. Needing a Top-3 to transfer, Tristan finished 10th.
For Saturday's $20,000-to-win finale, Tristan laid down a good qualifying lap but once again struggled in his heat race. Finding himself in another B-Main, Chamberlain was unable to transfer to the feature after a 10th-place outing.
Chamberlain is currently 21st in the World of Outlaw point standings.
